ROYAL LEPAGE FOOTHILLS SHELTER FOUNDATION
For five years Debra worked alongside like minded realtors supporting the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation (Calgary Chapter). As a result of this commitment she was invited to play a role in establishing The ROYAL LEPAGE FOOTHILLS SHELTER FOUNDATION and currently holds the position of Secretary on the Board of Directors.
The realtors of Royal LePage Foothills have played an integral role in raising funds for Discovery House (a Calgary stage 2 women’s shelter) under the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. It was through their vision and initiative Discovery House was able to build a new facility to continue providing support for women and children who experienced domestic violence. As a result of their tenacity Royal LePage Foothills began the process (with the approval and support of the National Royal LePage Shelter Foundation) to become sanctioned as an independent charitable foundation. Status was granted January 2009 and is now known as ROYAL LEPAGE FOOTHILLS SHELTER FOUNDATION. Royal LePage Foothills is the first Royal LePage brokerage to establish an independent charitable foundation. This independence allows us to carry out our mission statement...
